We have a great breeze blowing in this morning.  but it seems to be blowing in storms!  We are expecting big storms this afternoon and evening.  We hope they hold off  long enough to get our turtle nest packed up and shipped to Cape Canaveral. 

Once the eggs are on the Cape Canaveral they will be put on a beach to make their way safely to the Atlantic.  We are excited that our turtles have a safe place to get in the water!  I will be sure to get a video up as soon as possible of the packing process. 

Our waters are looking great again today we have bigger waves and a great breeze.  The beach cleaning is going great and each morning looks a little better than the last.    Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update 07/16/10 from Sunset Properties

Good afternoon everyone!  It is another really warm afternoon here in ft. Morgan.  There were only about 25 guests enjoying the beach at lunch time today.  The crystal clear water that is nice and cool is a big draw for the small crowd this afternoon, despite the swimming advisory.  I saw just a few tar balls in the water along with the fish, sand dollars, and shells.

Good afternoon everyone!  We have a great breeze blowing out of the west cooling off this sunny day on the beach.  We still have small crowds but they are having a great time.  The water is clear and the beach is looking great now that the new equipment has made a few passes over the sand.

Good afternoon everyone!  It is a beautiful day in at the Dunes Beach, in Ft. Morgan.  We have a small crowd enjoying the clear water, watching the dolphin play, today!  The big equipment did a good first run cleaning up our beach last night.  I am still seeing a few tar balls wash in, but it is not closing down our beaches or keeping people from enjoying them.

 The great salt breeze is cooling things off a little, but it is going to be a very warm weekend!  We hope to see you all very soon!!!

Good Wednesday afternoon everyone!  We have a great sunny day on the beach today.  We still have a few scattered clouds but those are supposed to blow out later this afternoon, and then it is supposed to get really hot again. 

The beach looks really different today we had really large waves come through last night that erroded part of the beach and pushed any sea weed and  tar balls we had further back on the beach. By the water’s edge the beach is clear and everyone is enjoying playing in the sand or  in the edge of the water.  We have a good number of people getting some sun, fishing and having fun with their families.
