The vast majority of our properties are on the Alabama Gulf Coast: Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We offer rentals, both condos and beach homes, on the gulf and bay side. The only exception is our ski condo in Park City, Utah.
Normal business hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays vary. We do have an after hours service to answer phones outside of business hours, but if you have a non emergency we HIGHLY encourage you to text us at 251-543-1370 so that one of our personal employees can help you. Also, feel free to email email@example.com.
When you stay with Sunset Properties there will also be emergency numbers listed in your app.
To book a property with Sunset Properties you must pay 30% down and the remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. If you book within 30 days we will need full payment upon booking. Sunset Properties accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Check-in time starts at 4pm. We try our best to have everything ready by 4pm; however, on a heavy check-in day it can be as late as 6pm. So, please be prepared to grab a bite to eat or dip your toes in the sand, if you arrive prior to your property being ready.
Check-out time is 10am.

Sunset Properties provides a starter of: toilet paper in each bathroom, trash bag in the kitchen and bath and dishwasher soap. Your property will have a fully equipped kitchen so bring the food you would like to cook. (That is if you want to cook on vacation!) You will also have one towel and one wash cloth per person the condo or home sleeps. Meaning, for a property that sleeps six, you will have 6 washcloths and 6 towels. So, if you do not want to do laundry while you are on vacation, then we suggest bringing extra washcloths and towels.
We also think you may want to bring beach towels, beach chairs/toys, extra toilet paper, paper towels, spices, toiletries, and everything else you will need for your day to day activities.
All properties have wireless internet, unless specified in the description.
Please remember that you are on an island and internet service can sometimes be spotty.
Yes, but we do have a limited number of dog friendly condos and houses. Refer to our website for a complete list of our pet friendly properties. Please know that all of the properties are located in Fort Morgan, where the beach is pet friendly. ALL PET FRIENDLY RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE OVER THE PHONE DURING OFFICE HOURS, Mon-Fri 9am-4pm Central Time. Each association that allows dogs has different restrictions on size, quantity and breed. So, it is important that you call to verify that your dog(s) meet the requirements. There is a $120 plus tax non-refundable fee per dog. Cats are not allowed because of the U.S. Government protected beach mouse!
NO. Grilling on decks, porches, balconies and underneath houses is prohibited. Grills are provided in the common areas which you are welcome to use.
When you rent a really cool property from Sunset Properties you will be close to all of the best things to do in the area. Whether you are staying in one of our vacation rentals in Fort Morgan, Orange Beach or Gulf Shores you will find that there is never a shortage of attractions and activities in which to participate. Besides the beautiful sandy beaches, the area of Gulf Shores also has some of the best fishing and boating opportunities. Enjoy a day charter fishing or on a dolphin cruise. Looking to plan a tee time while on vacation? Gulf Shores, Foley and Fort Morgan offer a range of beautiful golf courses that are close to our vacation rentals. There are also oodles of family activities in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, Adventure Island are just a few of the wonderful family-friendly Gulf Shores attractions. There are also plenty of shopping areas and restaurants. If you are in Fort Morgan, you need to tour the historic Fort Morgan and see where the saying “Damn the torpedo's, full speed ahead” originated. While there you should visit the historic mansion that was named after Revolutionary War hero, Daniel Morgan, then hop on the ferry and sail across to Dauphin Island.
