It is another amazing afternoon in Ft. Morgan. We have a great breeze and the water continues to be crystal clear. Our wonderful guests are having fun in the great waves or getting a tan in the comfortable breeze. We are still under a swimming advisory for the unforeseen future, this does not seem to be keeping folks out of the water. Enjoy the video!

Good Afternoon everyone. It is a perfect beautiful beach day. Warm but not too warm, a little bit of a breeze white sand and clear water. We see cleaning crews on the land and in the water making sure all is beautiful for the visitors and locals alike. Their are a handful of people enjoying the beach this afternoon. We are hoping to join them soon!!
Unfortunately, Fish and wildlife packed up the sea turtle nest early last night, so I was unable to get a video. I am hoping to get one for you in the future. Until then enjoy our video today and we hope to see you soon!
Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update 07/16/10
We have a great breeze blowing in this morning. but it seems to be blowing in storms! We are expecting big storms this afternoon and evening. We hope they hold off long enough to get our turtle nest packed up and shipped to Cape Canaveral.
Once the eggs are on the Cape Canaveral they will be put on a beach to make their way safely to the Atlantic. We are excited that our turtles have a safe place to get in the water! I will be sure to get a video up as soon as possible of the packing process.
Our waters are looking great again today we have bigger waves and a great breeze. The beach cleaning is going great and each morning looks a little better than the last. Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update 07/16/10 from Sunset Properties

Ft. Morgan Oil Leak update 07/15/10
Good afternoon everyone! It is another really warm afternoon here in ft. Morgan. There were only about 25 guests enjoying the beach at lunch time today. The crystal clear water that is nice and cool is a big draw for the small crowd this afternoon, despite the swimming advisory. I saw just a few tar balls in the water along with the fish, sand dollars, and shells.

Good Wednesday afternoon everyone! we hope you are having a wonderful day. It is a VERY HOT, sunny day at the Dunes Beach in Ft. Morgan. Everyone we meet is really enjoying their stay this week. The beaches are looking great and the water while not a clear as it has been is looking good and people are still enjoying it despite the swimming advisory. Good afternoon everyone! We have a great breeze blowing out of the west cooling off this sunny day on the beach. We still have small crowds but they are having a great time. The water is clear and the beach is looking great now that the new equipment has made a few passes over the sand.

Ft. Morgan Oil leak Update 07/10/10
Good afternoon everyone! It is a beautiful day in at the Dunes Beach, in Ft. Morgan. We have a small crowd enjoying the clear water, watching the dolphin play, today! The big equipment did a good first run cleaning up our beach last night. I am still seeing a few tar balls wash in, but it is not closing down our beaches or keeping people from enjoying them.

07/09/10 Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update
Good morning everyone! It is a lovely, warm, sunny day on The Dunes beach in Ft. Morgan. We have a great salty breeze blowing in and the beaches are very quiet. I think we have a total of 12 people enjoying our beautiful beach today.
July 9th Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update from Sunset Properties
We got some great news this morning. The clean up crew will finally be coming through with 5 new machines that BP purchased, to clean up the tar balls tonight. We had a large influx of tar balls and debris about a week ago and that will be removed! As you can see in the video despite the swimming advisory we still have a few people swimming and enjoying the water.
We do still have a very few Jimmy Buffett Tickets left. Give us a call if you are interested in booking a condo. We look forward to seeing you soon.
07/08/10 Ft. Morgan Oil leak update
Sorry for the late post everyone! My day off didn’t allow for anything earlier! If you are still hunting Jimmy Buffett tickets give us a call tomorrow, I believe we have a few left! Ft. Morgan Oil Leak Update 07/07/10
Good Wednesday afternoon everyone! We have a great sunny day on the beach today. We still have a few scattered clouds but those are supposed to blow out later this afternoon, and then it is supposed to get really hot again.
The beach looks really different today we had really large waves come through last night that erroded part of the beach and pushed any sea weed and tar balls we had further back on the beach. By the water’s edge the beach is clear and everyone is enjoying playing in the sand or in the edge of the water. We have a good number of people getting some sun, fishing and having fun with their families.
