Mardi Gras Gulf Shores Style

Mardi Gras, is a celebration similar to carnival in South America.  The party starts at Epiphany and continues on until Ash Wednesday before the Lenten season of sacrifice.  This season of celebration, balls, dances, parades, and rich food comes to a culmination on Fat Tuesday where the final parades and feasts are enjoyed.  Locally, in Gulf Shores we enjoy parades, with throws, and treats as well as the kids get a day off from school, and we enjoy special events including dances.  Our winter guests are in on all the fun as the season always hits while they are in town.  So, Gulf shores in the mid-winter is always a great place for a party.  We even get into the festivities here at Sunset Properties with our Mardi Gras Tree.  Give us a call to hear about our Mardi Gras Specials!
