My favorite memory growing up was coming to this home every summer

"This is the house I grew up coming to every single summer growing up for our family reunions each year. I will never forget this house and the memories we made here. Out of all of the beach trips I’ve now been on, this house will forever be my favorite place to be even after all these years since being there. If you have the chance to take your family here, I encourage you to do so. I made some of my greatest memories here with my family that I will never forget"

"We booked a very last minute stay. We knew we wanted the beach and a pet friendly location. Shellcase exceeded every expectation. We had plenty of room for our 3 kids, their friends and our dog. The home was nice and inviting. It was essentially on the beach, as we walk farther at other locations. We loved this trip and will definitely return!"

"It was wonderful. House was the perfect size for our extended family vacation. Easy beach access. Would not receive going during Shrimp Fest. Downtown was off limits due to every store, shop and restaurant charged $20 to park. Even if you wanted to shop or eat at their establishment. Otherwise great location. "

"House was perfect and had great space for everyone to spread out. They kitchen is well stocked. This was a short walk to the beach and had minimal traffic in the neighborhood. Only thing to consider is if you go out to plan ahead as it’s 18 miles from the main highway but that didn’t bother us and will definitely stay here again. "

"This property is in a great location. Its a short walk to the beach and the kids love the pools. The house has lots of room and plenty of seating space in the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked (better than most rentals) which is a big plus. We even had room for visitors for a couple of days. We had a great time and will be back."

"Great place to spend time with family and grandkids. Was a little surprised one room was connected to another room but was good for the family we had in those rooms. Repairs were ongoing at Shell Chase so some material was still in the parking area but no workers were there. We enjoyed the porches and spent many mornings and evenings on them. Have always been pleased with Sunset Properties selections so they remain on our list for family vacations."

This has been a very busy season and housekeeping focuses mostly on making sure the house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in the areas most commonly used. Things such as dusting and cleaning underneath the furniture, cleaning baseboards, etc..are done with the deep clean. We look forward to seeing you again next time!"

"We had a wonderful Family time here! The home was Beautiful and perfect for a large family 6 adults in 3 children and a Dog. So close to the Beautiful beach and Swimming pool was right behind us. Place was Pretty clean except for carpeting Would recommend cleaning Carpeting. I would definitely go back again! Sunset properties were so helpful they were the best I would definitely use them again! Tacky Jack's is walking distance and It has a little grocery store in it which was very helpful. The food Was pretty good. Ordered all our food from Walmart and picked up Curbside. My Husband and Sons when golfing at the closest golf course Kiva dunes.They said it was beautiful! Would recommend renting a Canopy at the beach it was So worth it! Planning to go back again! "

"First time using VRBO to book a vacation rental. It was a very good experience. Love the properties secluded location and beach access. The neighbors were respectful and quiet. There are some local eateries and a general store nearby, but for variety you will need to travel 20 miles to Gulf Shores. I recommend shopping for breakfast, lunch and dinner food items at the Walmart or Rouses in Gulf Shores before checking in.

The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing elaborate meals. There's plenty of cookware, utensils and drinkware. The wonderful patios overlook the Gulf. The house was relatively clean...I did find some food under the sofa cushions. The master bedroom mattress could use updating. Every movement on this king size bed reverberated throughout the entire mattress. If you have a restless partner, be aware.

The only major flaw I found was the internet access. The wifi name and password provided by the property management company was different then the information posted on the fridge. The management company was unaware of the difference.

Overall, great property and terrific location for a peaceful getaway."

"Our family of 5 adults and 3 children loved our stay at Shellchase. It is an easy walk to the beach and very close to the pool, too. There is plenty of space for everybody indoors. We also loved to sit at the tables on the deck, however, one of them is aging and we felt that we could easily brake the table and/or the chairs. Overall, it was a great vacation!!"

"we had a great time on our trip to Fort Morgan, staying at the Shellchase. We booked the house with plans of two other families coming as well, but due to Covid-19, and extended missed work, they were not able to join. This house was more than enough space for the 5 of us and had just about everything we could have needed. The basement area with beach supplies was very handy! The only draw back was that the half bath off kitchen. Will continue to run if the handle isn't jiggled, but even that became a joke among the kids. All happy memories were created during this stay."

"ShellChase is an exceptionally well located and well kept house in Fort Morgan. The view from the deck in amazing. The house is just steps to the dog friendly beach and pool. Two restaurants are within a 5 minute drive, along with small groceries and drinks. The property is minutes from the fort and the ferry. Gulf Shores is a 15 minute drive away.
The house is very well appointed, with loads of kitchen utensils and tons of room for all. The property was very clean.
A large storm knocked out the satellite tv and internet while we were there. Sunset responded quickly and restored service within a day. They were very easy to work with; we would definitely use Sunset again."

"Shell Chase was a beautiful place to stay and easily accommodated 9 of us plus a small dog.....very close to the beach.....the place is in a gated community toward the end of the island so it is approximately 25 minutes to civilization....the kids especially loves the pool and the ice cream truck that visited daily.......we found the house to be clean and stocked with what we needed......we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to getaway and relax with family and friends! "The house that we chose was above our expectations. This year we had the immediate family and some friends so the sleeping capacity of 10 was needed. In addition to all of us there was plenty of room so that we all had our separate spaces.
The master suite was on the first floor so us more mature ones did not have to go up and down too many stairs.
There were TVs for everyone and DVD players for the grand children to watch videos, so that they were not bored for the few hours that we spent in the house.
Plenty of deck space and cool breezes as we overlooked the gulf from our back deck and the weather was absolutely perfect the entire stay.
We had an easy walk to the beach and also to the pool. The little ones really enjoyed the pool.
All in all a really GREAT vacation."

"Fantastic. We were supposed to be in Tampa but a hurricane had other ideas. We made the reservation days before showing up. The house was great. Only five of us so we had plenty of room. A nice secluded beach but near enough to a few restaurants and a short drive back to Gulf shores for supplies. "

"We visited this rental property for Spring Break with another family and loved it! There was 4 adults and 5 kids. The location was perfect and the house fit us all perfect. It had everything we needed. Sunset Properties was very helpful with us anytime we had a question or needed something. They even went out of their way when we asked if they would have life jackets we could borrow and went to pick some up and brought them to us. While we were there, one of the air conditioners went out and they had it replaced within less then a day. We have rented from many companies all over and this was one of our best experiences. And the beach was BEAUTIFUL! We would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. "

"Overall a great place. It is listed as a 5 bedroom, however, one room is really like a toddler room off one of the other bedrooms. The weather had been very windy and there was quite a bit of trash outside. It took several calls to get the main tv to was missing a cable. Kitchen was well stocked. Home itself was very clean. The pool was not in service all week. This is one of the deciding factors on staying at this property. I am sure spring break weeks are known to all property owners."

"This was our first time in the Gulf Shores area and we loved our stay. Shell Chase was an awesome rental, beautifully decorated, clean and seems new. Location to beach and pools is super. We had a total of 4 houses rented within our family and this was by far the best one. Will definitely rent Shell Chase again if in the area. "

"Great place and clean. As others mentioned, the panty was locked so had to keep food all over the counter, not ideal but not a big deal either. Could have used a few pots that had lids in the kitchen but we managed. Beds were nice and comfy. Across the street from the pool and very short walk to the beach. Outdoor hose to clean sand off the feet and charcoal BBQ, though lacked BBQ utensils. Management company was great and easy to work with. We will be back!"

"We were very comfortable at Shell Chase. There were a few requests when we arrive and the mgmt and owner made sure the requests were taken care of immediately. It has a beautiful view of the gulf. The staff was very supportive and checked to see if we needed anything when we went for our mail. The rental was well equipped and everything working. Very stylish and sunny. Great beds! Downside is the distance to town, but well worth the extra drive time. We have rented this unit for next year.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fort Morgan. The property is close to the pool which seems well maintained and clean and is within easy walking distance of the beach.

The patio chairs on the back deck are rusted through and need to be replaced. However, there are folding chairs in the unit that we used and brought in each night.

The washer and dryer are extremely small for a family of 10 (stackables).

The kitchen is okay -- we had problems with the refrigerator staying cool enough. The right front burner on the stove was not working -- we notified the management company and feel certain they will address it. The lack of a pantry in this unit was inconvenient. When you bring groceries for this many people it would be great to have a place to store them.

The living area has plenty of seating for a large group. The back deck is well covered and large enough for 10+ people.

The cell service in the area is spotty at best. The land line at this unit was not working, so getting in touch with our family staying in another unit here was difficult.

This unit was clean, well kept, and in good repair. (We had a problem with a board on the walkway, called the management and it was replaced very quickly -- impressive!)"

The cell phone service should be much better as there are two towers being installed on property and should be working by end of year. We have also addressed the land line issue with the owner. "Accommodations were more than adequate, was clean and comfy. Outdoor furniture needs an upgrade, chairs and umbrellas were broken or in poor shape, lack of storage in kitchen, pantry was locked. Overall we were very satisfied. "
