"Enjoyed stay at San Carlos. Two improvements would be the addition of a cookie sheet or pizza pan & a stainless steel skillet. We had a late checkout but the key code changed at least an hour before or original checkout time. Thank goodness my husband was still in unit but needed to wait 10 minutes to get back in as he was in the shower while I was taking the garbage out."

"This vacation home right on the sandy shores of Gulf Shores checked all the boxes! The condo was very clean and had everything needed to make the stay warm and welcoming. "My family had a great stay! We had only 2 issues come up, one a minor issue with a toaster and the other a big security concern for us because we were traveling with my 5 year old niece who has autism. I shared our concerns via text about not having an interior door reinforcement lock at the top of our door even though the door had a regular automatic lock. Flight of kids with autism is a crippling fear for their parents. In less than 24 hours, sunset properties had contacted the owners for approval and had an incredibly kind maintenance man come in to install the top lock for us. Our maintenance guy even gave us some tips on great places to eat and was from our home state. We felt so much safer knowing my niece couldn’t run out of the condo at any second. I was so impressed with the responsiveness of sunset properties and the owners on this accommodation that I felt obligated to share. 10/10 on communication, responsiveness, and accommodating special needs families! Thanks for a great stay and taking our concern about the lock seriously. I think it’s also a great additional security feature that other customers will appreciate as well. "
