"We had a great time during our stay! Very easy to find, close enough to all of gulf shore’s amenities but far enough away to provide peace and quiet. House was very clean and it faces west so beautiful sunsets every night. Beach is an easy walk and was never too busy. Wildlife was great as well, saw dolphins multiple times!"

"Our stay at the Reel House was great. The house is in a pretty good location to where you can walk to the beach or drive to some public access points. The provided kayaks were also nice. With them you could launch out and kayak over to St. Andrew’s Bay to fish or explore. "

"The Reel House was a gem! I’ve stayed various places on the gulf and this is top of the list. So clean, so nicely furnished, an ideal property on the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and the beach only two blocks away. However, we liked staying at the property with the small beach in front of the house. The dogs loved swimming, we relaxed by the water and enjoyed the view. Sunset Properties thought of everything for water recreation including kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, fishing poles and traps. You can’t go wrong with this cottage!!"

"The Reel house was just perfect for our family of 4. We loved the decor, the modern furnishings and the awesome deck. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of an awesome beach and close to Fort Morgan and the ferry. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores and the traffic and congestion. It was just what we were looking for. "

"Very clean and looked newly remodeled. Very pretty inside. Beautiful deck overlooking inlet with oyster boxes and wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Aprox 4 block walk to gulf beach. Beach stunning and dog friendly. Only lacking a beach chair or 2 as we didnt have room."

"I am very satisfied with my stay. It is a pet friendly property and I am very thankful!!! I think in the future....the grass and sand burs need to be address because with pets and even people that is an issue. Also, the TV was awesome but football season is upon us and there needs to be a notation that the service is APP BASED so you can be prepared to have passwords and info on hand. Otherwise a beautiful property and location to TACKY JACKS and beach is very close. Sunset properties are great to deal with and very accommodating....will definitely use them again for my next getaway!!!! "

"This cute house is on Mobile Bay, about three miles from Ft. Morgan and the ferry. It has been recently completely rebuilt from the original deck up, and all appliances are top of the line and new. Wi-fi and smart TVs work well in the main room and bedrooms. Bedrooms are small but have really large and comfy beds. A new seawall extends out into an inlet of the bay, with a new dock that is great for fishing. Water depth is 3-4 feet. We caught croaker, pinfish, catfish and other species during our stay in early May 2023. Out in front of the dock are floats that support an oyster farm. The unit is quite private, with vacant lots on either side. Two cons are that it could use an outdoor grill, and only small cars can park under the house due to its low height (6 feet). Sunset was easy to work with and we were in touch by text during the stay. Would recommend for several couples or a family with a few kids."
