"Stayed in 704 two weeks end begin Feb. Easy check in check out. Unit was clean and met all our needs. Toured Fort Morgan and thoroughly enjoyed the rich history there!
There is some kind of 'beeping' alarm that is heard all day at the resort--don't know what that is, but obnoxious at times. "

"704 marvelous suite. Just 2 of us so everything we needed; Needed a good thorough cleaning; main patio door VERY hard to open -Husband smashed his fingers last day there trying to open it. Tops of fans, microwave/fridge very greasy/dusty, goo on floor by fridge, doors had liquids dripped on them,other surface areas all quite clean.Yeah, I'm picky. Property Manager Karen on site was extremely helpful and very professional/pleasant to work with. Would definitely have given a 5 if simple cleaning would have been better. Loved the place. "

"We had a pleasant stay at the Indies had a small hiccup with the door lock once we arrived but we had assistance within minutes and they fixed the problem. The condo was large, comfortable and my wife and I loved the decor. The area is quiet and the beaches weren’t over crowded. We would definitely come and stay again."

"Our condo was very clean. Decorating was so up to date. Mattress in master bedroom was very comfortable. We were woke up with construction workers our first morning I jumped out of the bed hearing the sound of a heavy drill hammer above our room I wasn’t expecting that and we were unable to use the pool because of construction. But that didn’t have anything to do with the owners. We did run out of hot water our second day. Just called the maintenance number and they came that day to fix the hot water heater, again not the owners fault. We all know things breaks at the most inconvenient times. We really enjoyed the beach area as it was not as crowded. We drove instead of walked to beach. Because we had 2 babies and lots of stuff to carry. Never had a problem getting a park because the area is so private. Loved our stay and will stay again. "

We are the ones who make sure the INSIDE of the condo or home is taken care of,,, so I think you confused us with the "owners". "We loved the unit 704. It was cute and comfortable. The unit had everything that we needed and plenty of room. We liked the view from the balcony, high enough to see over the beach houses. The only downside of staying at the Indies at this time was the construction. The pool was closed until 5:00 every day. Then one day a baby had an accident in the pool and there was no one on site to report it too. We liked that there were not a lot of people around. If you are looking for a beach town feel without a touristy atmosphere then this is the perfect place for you."

"This unit surpassed our expectations! The unit was much nicer than presented on the internet. The furnishings and decorations have been updated in a tasteful beach atmosphere. Very comfortable, roomy and we had everything we needed. We visited the Shrimp Festival, shopped at Tanger Outlets and enjoyed eating out in local restaurants as well as cooking family meals using the onsite grills and wonderful stainless steel appliances in the unit. The in-room laundry made it so easy to come home with nothing to do but unpack! Thanks for providing all the extras! Games/cards, books and other floats/toys to enjoy beach/pool activities kept everyone occupied during the week. Hope we can get this unit again!"

"The condo was great. We enjoyed our stay. I was surprised how much was included, I packed way too much. My only complaint is I had no idea it was a condo. It worked out fine, but the listing showed single family units...these were just what was in view, I was surprised to find, when I arrived; it was a condo. "

"What a wonderful apartment, the decorations are great the check in process is easy and the apartment is so spacious the view from the balcony was gorgeous and it is just a short walk to the beach, if you want to hang out by the pool it is literally at the bottom of the elevators, everything was great during our stay"

"We were very satisfied with our stay at this property. The sunset property staff was very helpful when we had a lot of questions about different things. We also liked the closeness of the beach. I wasn’t impressed with the check out instructions the day we left. At the rental property, there were check out instructions on a list, but on the app, we found different check out instructions. Just wish they were on the same page. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "

"everything was great. We did not have a toaster, but that was rectified. The only negative was that the screen door on deck from living area was pretty torn up and there was NO screen door off the bedroom to the deck. This made it impossible to sleep with the door open and enjoy a nice breeze. We brought this to management attention, but it was not addressed. Otherwise, the unit was great; plenty of towels, very clean."

"Very nicely decorated unit. The kids' room even had a basket of books and some toys for the kids. The king bed in the first bedroom was SO comfortable (I'm only commenting on that one because that's the only one I slept on). This was our second year back at Indies, we love it there! Last year my husband and I went alone, and this year we took our 3 and 6 year old kids (who loved the bunk beds). Either way, with or without kids, it is the most relaxing vacation.

Last year we went the first week of May, and this year we arrived the weekend of Memorial Day, and it was MUCH busier this year. We didn't mind, but it you want a more secluded stay, go earlier in May (still just as beautiful weather-wise)! We will likely return again next year!"

"The condo was very nice and updated with a great view (as the pictures show). Please read the reporting instructions before your arrival. I could have benefited from that in two ways: One, in knowing that I'd have to take a ferry to get to the final destination unless I intentionally took the alternate route. The other information I overlooked was that only one car was allowed. Any additional cars required me to buy a parking pass which cost $25 a piece. Also, we enjoyed the area because there were not many other vacationers. Probably because of the time of the year we came, but I would also consider this area much more quiet than being in the heart of Gulf Shores. The private beach access was nice! I definitely see us coming back to stay in this condo. "

"We had another perfect vacation with sunset properties, we were able to relax with breath taking views of the gulf and the kids even managed to swim in the heated pool and the gulf for a short time. We fished at the state park pier saw Several dolphins and the Pelicans really liked to say hi. Can't wait to go bac again next year!"

"Our family enjoyed our stay here. The only set back were a broken toaster, can opener, and the couch needed replacing. The location was nice, it felt clean and uncrowded. It was also quiet and felt safe. My children enjoyed the pool, and the walk to the beach was a short one. "

"We will probably not stay here again. The property is too far away from places that we like to eat, shop and entertain. The pool is not designed correctly and nor is it deep enough. One end should be deeper and one end should be for shallow water. The deepest end (5 ft) should not be in the middle. Most adults are taller than 5ft, therefore not really designed for adults. Also, the workout key should be mentioned when u ck in. A guest should not have to ask a security guard or another guest "how do we obtain a work out key"?. Also, why do u have to pay for parking when we are obviously staying at the property or we would not be down that way. In addition, if u rent a 3/2 condo, there are obviously going to be more than one vehicle. It should be 1 bedroom/1 parking ticket. 2 bedroom/ 2 parking tickets,etc. Also, our coffee pot did not work. We had to borrow one from another guest that we knew was staying at the property. Also, wwe had to call the office to have maintains come to our xondo for a few things (leg chair, light bulbs, smoke detector). We broughta movie hoping we could watch a movie, but to come find out, thr dvd player did not work in the 3rd bedroom. Also, why cant the office pass out the swimming passes when u ck in? Why should a "guest" have to chase down a security guard to obtain passes? "

When our maintenance person told us he could not fix the dvd player, we phoned the owner, and he will replace it. I am very sorry the pool bands and registration passes were frustrating and expensive to obtain. Unfortunately, that is how the condo owner's association chooses to work items of that nature and as the rental manager we have to abide by their rules. If you ever want to stay with Sunset Properties again, we would be more than happy to place you in a different property that may be easier to navigate. "

The only thing missing was a dustpan and with sandy feet that was needed. The mattress on the hide a bed is in desperate need of replacement. It was basically just springs and fabric. Otherwise everything was perfect! We hope to be able to come back every year. "

"We stayed for 5 nights and were fortunate to have a near perfect stay. The condo property is nice, and even though there's a short walk to the beach, the view was great and we were very comfortable with the location. The only drawbacks were: slightly small - surprisingly large closets in surprisingly small bedrooms; the chairs and stools in dining area were not comfortable seating; not enough bath towels (We had 6 or 7 bath towels and maybe 6 (?) bath cloths and 1 hand towel for each bathroom); some confusion over gaining access to the fitness center and we missed an entire day use of it. We would go there again so the bottom line is that it's a nice place well decorated and use-able, and generally very comfortable."
