"Loved the community feel. The ice cream truck even circles around. The only issues we had was the Fobs for the pool and top of the roof entry. Those did not work at all ever! Other guests had to let us in. I would recommend a new process for that cause when you have small children and your arms loaded and the key fob won’t work it is very frustrating.
However, it is a wonderful place to stay. "

"This was our first time renting a condo in FtM, even though we have visited the area for over 25 years now. We have always stayed at a house on the beach, but we wanted to try a less expensive route for our "spur of the moment--birthday--last trip before school starts" trip! The condo was very nice. The noise from the pool directly below the house was a negative in my husband and I's opinion, but it may not bother others. (We live in a very secluded rural area and are used to no people/quiet.) It definitely has a hotel (not home) feel, but it was a great stay for my husband and I. The description was 6 could sleep, but it would definitely not be 6 adults! The 2 bunk beds in the hall are for very small children only. The inside furniture was a little worn and dirty, but overall effective for our stay. We loved the balcony furniture! "

"We had a great stay at Indies. The reason not a 5 star on condition or cleanliness was the couch had a stain and looked like it needed cleaning. The bath tub could use some extra cleaning too. We love Ft. Morgan beach it's family oriented and just a nice area. The only thing you do have to drive back to Gulf Shores to go to nice restaurants. I would recommend staying here! "

"On the arrival to unit. Wifi, internet did not work. I called rental company. I was told a work order for on call maintenance was requested. No one came that evening. Did not enjoy my first night of vacation. Next morning I went to area where I could call rental company. She sent maintenance man. He got me connected to next door's wifi. Was told that the next day there was a repair man coming to install new wifi. Was disturbed on next day for service and maintenance man to install new wifi. New wifi worked.This problem should have been reported to me before my arrival. I would have perferred to wait and come when conditions were better in this unit. I could not use my cell phone nor watch Television until next day. "

"Brenda, I'm sorry you had issues with the wi-fi. We immediately got you connected to the wi-fi next door and as soon as our maintenance man went he saw the router needed to be replaced and we were able to get it replaced the next day. We would have waited to fix it after you left as not to disturb you, but you wanted to be able to use the wi-fi so unfortunately they had to come in and install the new router. This was not disclosed to you before arrival because it was not an ongoing issue. The last guest did not report any issues with the wi-fi so we did not know there was a problem. I am hoping you enjoyed the lovely beach view from this condo and how close it is to our secluded Fort Morgan beach. "

"This unit was very clean, bed was very comfortable. We did have an issue with the air conditioner, but maintenance had it fixed before we returned from being out all day. I would stay here again. The only bad thing, the couch and chair in main area, not comfortable if your just chilling watching tv."

"I love to surf fish and there is no better place to surf fish. The beach was really nice and not very crowded. The early morning and evening fishing was very good and this was the end of March. The Indies 405 Condo was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beach so much we didn't make it to the pool. The wagon in the storage closet was very convenient for me to use to haul down the fishing gear to the beach. The area was very quiet away from the crowded tourist area, but not too far of drive to get to the amazing seafood places. Tacky Jacks and the marina just down the street was great food too. We had a great stay. No issues. Only complaint was that we only had 3 nights. Wished we could of had a whole week. "

"The condo was beautiful and so was the scenery. We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean. The only part we did not like was that on Tuesday construction started around 7:30am. The noise was extremely loud, we couldn't hear each other talk. I knew construction was occurring but I didn't know it would start so early. Other than that, our stay was great."

"We had a wonderful time in Ft Morgan. The condo was clean and the beach is beautiful. It's a perfect area to relax away from the hustle and bustle but just a short drive into town if you want to shop or go out to dinner. We only had 2 minor complaints - there was some conflicting check in information and it was a little confusing as to the best way to contact the owners. But, when I did contact them they were quick to respond and kind. The second is that the condo is close to the elevator so it was a little loud in the mornings. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property. "

I didn't see the need for a constant watch over the pool one was being loud of misusing the area.I do think that kids who are 12 and over should be allowed to go to the pool without supervision.They can go to our neighborhood pool at home at age 10 without a adult. I could totally understand if the kids were being disruptive but adults can also behave that way. My children are taught to respect other peoples property and are expected to do the same at home as well as when we travel. Was disappointed that they close down the roof top patio at dark. Still a nice place to go and sit and enjoy the evening."

"We had a great time in this beautiful condo! The space was actually a little larger than it looked in pictures and was was perfect with four kids! The bunk beds were a hit with the older girls and the younger boys fit perfectly on the sleeper sofa. The view is beautiful (one thing I didn't realize is we're in the view of oil rigs not a big deal, just unexpected!) The host was quick to respond to messages and we had an overall great time! Maybe one suggestion is the owner could hit up the dollar store for a few more dish towels lol! "

We only go into Gulf Shores a couple times to eat and shop, so for us, we really enjoy being off the beaten path in Fort Morgan. The beach is so gorgeous and right next to a nature preserve. While I was unloading the car upon arrival a local gentleman who lives and owns condos in the building was sitting outside. He was a wealth of information and very helpful. I will be staying here again for our annual Alabama vacation. "

"We loved our time at The Indies in Fort Morgan! The condo was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Our family of four was very comfortable in the one bedroom condo. We loved being a bit (25 minutes or so) from the commercialized and crowded Gulf Shores/Orange Beach areas. They were close enough to visit, but then we could get back to our own "semi-private" beach and relax. The checkout and checkin processes were extremely simple and the maintenance crew was right on the one simple question we had. We loved it and will definitely be back!"

"This was our first time to stay here. We LOVED it so much that we extended our stay 1 night after we got there. Management company is fantastic and easy to get in contact with with the zip text via phone. We got the opportunity to stay in 2 different condos and both of them were in excellent condition and cleaned spectacularly. The view of the ocean is wonderful, enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Access to the beach is easy, loved that we had the option to drive or walk to the beach. Beach is clean and didn't smell like fish. We have already started planning our trip next year! My husband isn't much of a "beach" kind of guy but he enjoyed it and it was his idea to stay the extra night this week. "

"We had a great time at INDIES 405. The condo was fantastic. Just a few things, the water in the fridge door didn't work well (needs new filter) and it would be nice to have a scrub sponge (new) for guests to use and discard for dishes. Only one towel and washcloth for the kitchen seems skimpy. We've stayed in several VRBO condos that offer more towels for the kitchen. Also, while it is nice that there is onsite security, it is annoying to be constantly hassled about swim passes and the general feeling of skepticism that we are indeed staying at the condo and not trespassing. It's a bit extreme. Especially by day four when I know the guard has seen us multiple times. Just wondering if there isn't a friendlier way to do that process? This is just from our other VRBO experiences."

"I was very impressed with our rental's view. The unit was clean, and the video provided by Sunset was extremely helpful. I recommend downloading the app.

My only complaints with the unit were that the ceiling fan in the living room was a little off balance, and the couch had a small tear on the left cushion cover. The couch was also slightly stained in about three places.

As for location, if you don't want to deal with the traffic and noise in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, this place is away from it all. We enjoyed that part of it. However, make sure you bring all your groceries, paper towels, and garbage bags with you; it is a long way back to get these things (about 22 miles).

I recommend Tacky Jacks 2, which is just down the road, to eat. The food was great, and it was conveniently nearby. Again, it is a long way into town, and you should expect long wait times wherever you choose to eat unless it is fast food."

"When we arrived the toilet had urine still on the back of commode and the bunk beds mattress pads / quilts were dirty. I had to wash all bedding before children were able to sleep in them. The rest of the condo was nice and clean. We had no television signal on any of the tv's during our stay. The Wifi connection was okay. "

"We were looking for something local for a short vacation with the grandkids. This was perfect. With the bunk beds, the one bedroom condo was the perfect size. It was clean and there were no issues. The view was great. There is easy access to the pool and the gulf. "

"My husband, daughter and I had a great stay at the Indies in Ft. Morgan. This was our first time to Ft. Morgan, it was beautiful! The unit is nicely furnished, clean, and just the right size for a small family. I already miss having my coffee on the balcony with a beautiful gulf view. Our daughter loved the bunk bed and little tv on the top bunk. (No tv on bottom so I could see this being an issue if you have two kids). I'm so thankful we had the pool, our daughter (4yr old) was a little scared of the "big waves" (there were no big waves, just little gulf waves). A bit of advice, know that a real grocery store is 18+ miles away so stock up on your way in. There are only 2 restaurants nearby and we would NOT recommend Tacky Jack's which is right across the street. Go a couple of miles to Sassy Bass, much better food! We had one little issue with the fridge/freezer not cooling correctly and maintenance was on it immediately! Thank you for that quick response. We would recommend this condo and hope to be back again!"

"The beach condition was a little concerning due to the the sea grass coming in. There also seems to be a lot of wood scattered throughout. I would obviously like to see white sandy beaches with no objects but....."
