Perfect end to summer

"My husband and I stayed with some very good friends at the Golden Yona. This is our second time staying here. Beautiful place with all the amenities you could imagine. Very relaxing to wake up and sit on the shaded balcony with a cup of coffee or walking on the beach that is not at all crowded. We were surprised even with the crowd that came in for Labor Day that it still didn’t feel crowded on the beach. We used the pool for the first time on this trip and we were the only ones there. Very friendly folks in this development. Plenty of great places to eat in town and we made our way to the USS Alabama on a day trip. Golden Yona is the perfect location for peace and quiet, while not being too far from several other activities. A big thank you to the owners! We look forward to returning! "

"This was a great house. Exactly what we were looking for. A short distance to town but far enough away to be able to relax on the beach without it being crowded. Beautifully decorated house with good amenities. "

Awesome Beach Home

"The property is in an awesome location. Very private area with gated access and a beautiful uncrowded beach available a block away with plenty of parking to haul your beach wares. Although the property is in a private area it has easy access to town and if you just want a few minute ride, there are several grocery/supply shops nearby and a cool restaurant and ice cream shop. It’s also minutes from a fort which is a great time for you history buffs. The house has parking for several vehicles, and the lowest level provides a BBQ grill, a shower to rinse sand and bikes to ride. It also has space to store your beach wares. The house is well maintained and has large open areas to sit and relax, a bar area, a nicely appointed and stocked kitchen with all the tools for cooking. The equipment is modern and up to date with a nice size refrigerator and oven. There are TVs to watch your favorite shows. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with each room having its own bathroom and shower. We never ran out of hot water as we all showered in the am. The master is well appointed with its own balcony overlooking the beach and a natural preserve. The lower balcony is a great place to read and soak in the views while enjoying a morning coffee or and evening refreshment. It’s also a great place to watch the moon rise and set. All in all we had a wonderful time and recommend this property without hesitation."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Golden Yona! The home was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was quiet with easy beach access. Nearby was lots of entertainment and fine gulf coast eateries. I have never rented a finer Beach house. I can't wait until I can schedule my next visit where I will definitely spend a much longer time there. Do yourself a favor and spend a relaxing vacation in this lovely and comfortable home!"

Relaxing Time

"The Golden Yona property is exquisite! It is clear that the owners give attention to every detail and want to make you feel like you have had a well deserved get-away - and we definitely did! The weather was beautiful and even the couple of days that it was chilly, we could still sit on the balcony and enjoy the spacious living room and open kitchen concept while hanging out and visiting with family. Great place to rent - doesn’t feel like you are renting, feels like home! I would highly recommend the Golden Yona property for your next get-away! "

Perfect week

"Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful experience. It is clear that they attend to every detail to make your stay memorable. We had great weather until the end of the week. We could still sit on either one of the two decks and enjoy any sunshine we could catch. We were also able to enjoy great conversations in the spacious living room and cook some comfort food in that state of the art kitchen. The bedrooms were very luxurious and comfortable. The local restaurant, Tacky Jacks was great and we also found the restaurants in Foley to be reasonable and an experience as well. We cannot wait to book and come back again. We hated saying goodbye to this beautiful rental. "

I can honestly say this will be one new year that will not be forgotten. In all honesty, we love the zoo/mining for gold and the relaxing afternoons at the beach. Needed Getaway

"This was the getaway we needed after the craziness of the past year! The week was filled with beach exploration, swimming, sight seeing and an abundance of relaxation. The children loved the bunk room and the adults spent most of the time taking in the breeze and view on the decks. Thank you for setting such a lovely stage for us to fill with laughter and memories. "

Tons of History

"We had a wonderful time here, our first time in Fort Morgan. It's a beautiful place the house was great, no issues here. Fort Morgan was awesome to see with tones of history. We saw manta rays and manatees while here. My only advise is ....don't dive into the pool!! 3 stiches:("

The Sound of Waves

"We had a tremendous time, relaxing and enjoying true friendship. The memories we leave here with will often be replayed in our minds. The sound of the waves hitting the shoreline brought about a deep peace of mind that has been nonexistent lately. This is a gorgeous home, and I am very proud to have been a guest here. Amazing Family Vacation

"The pictures do not do it justice. We have loved taking vacation here with our family. Everything about this home was great! The owners have really put a large amount of time and effort into making sure the home is spectacularly maintained. Being within walking distance to the beach was a great bonus. You can see the beach of either balcony. They had bikes available to go riding if you wanted too. They also had beach toys for our little one to use. They provided all the necessary items for the home. They also had board games and puzzles on rainy days to enjoy. The whole family joined in on the puzzles. Thank you for the amazing memories and we will definitely be rebooking another stay at this home! "

Beach Oasis!

"Our week spent at the Golden Yona beach house was an absolutely perfect family vacation! From the location to the amenities within the home, this was an ideal spot for our family. Being in such close proximity to the beach helped us to get the kiddos to and from the beach quickly. Not only that but being able to see the surf from the back porch made for a picturesque spot to relax. We enjoyed our family meals around the huge dining room table, and we loved that the living room was big enough for all of us to cuddle up and watch movies at night. (The pictures do not do the second floor justice regarding how big it truly is!) You can tell that this is an owner that appreciates their home and works hard to maintain their property. We cannot wait to come back! (Hopefully it will be warmer next time and we can use the bikes that were available!)"

"This house is beautiful inside and out! We had no idea it was so wonderfully spacious. The rooms were decorated with lovely updated furnishings and were separated enough for plenty of privacy. Wet bar was a nice touch, Too:)"

Everything Imagined

"This home was everything we had Imagined. There was plenty of room for all the family. No one complained about the beds. All the mattresses were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook for our large family. It was a very short walk to the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful with the white sand. We used the bikes provided by the owner to ride down to Fort Morgan about a mile from the house and also across the street to the marina and Tacky Jacks restaurant. I would highly recommend this home. We can't wait to come back next year. "
