"We had a great trip with family. We enjoy cooking at the condo while together. The kitchen would be our only complaint. The kitchen supplies could use some updating. We had only 2 forks. Very minimal kitchen utensils, pots and pans. "

"Could not ask for better!!! Literally stepped out the door of the patio to the pool. Beach access past the pool. We basically had the beach to ourselves. It was perfect. Condo was clean & spacious. When we had an issue with the door code, I just texted them and it was not only immediately fixed they also sent maintenance to check everything out. We will definitely stay here again"

"Condo was a great little getaway for our family of 5 (2 Adults, 2 Kids, 1 Infant). The property was as described, except the dryer did not function very well. It was not something we brought up to management during our stay, as we just hung dry items. Kitchen was stocked fairly well, however there is some aging in the kitchen cabinets, but still the condo was useful and clean. Being so close to the condo pool was wonderful, and the beach was not far away. To walk to the beach, you definitely would need a utility cart of some kind to carry chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc... but we just drove the short way to park by the nearest boardwalk. We were happily surprised to find a beach umbrella and some body boards to use at the beach! We also loved that is was away from the more touristy section of Gulf Shores. We had a pickup order at the nearest Walmart, and stayed at the condo for all of our meals, and it was great, however there were a few nearby restaurants to go to if you wanted. "

We love that you can walk to the beach and also park closer for people who do bring a lot of stuff out. "All in all we enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean. The furnishings and kitchen was tired and aging. 2 of the3 TVs were unusable and very old lacking modern functionality. Modern TVs are very cheap. The fridge should be replaced, the exterior was badly stained (rust I think). Not a luxury condo, so not worth paying too much. Bring toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. Come with everything you would normally need or use unless you want to spend time driving 20 miles back to Gulf Shores to a proper grocery store. We actually enjoyed the “isolation”. We would come again, but only when the night rates are between $125 to $150/night. "

"My family and I went for a weekend and enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean (with the exception of the dishes, but that was fixed with some elbow grease before eating). The location was about a 30 minute drive to get into town, but was not a problem as we enjoyed the beach not being crowded. It was about a five minute walk to the beach on paved roads and sidewalks. Loved having the pool close by. Overall, the unit was good and will stay again in the future. "

"Wonderful condo! Easy check-in! Perfect for our family of 5. Quiet even though there was construction going on. The garbage disposal wasn’t working but it got fixed almost immediately. Loved the location of the condos. Chuck the security guard was extremely helpful with tips for dining. My only complaint is that I didn’t get an e-mail or anything telling me what my wi-fi password was so we burned through data for the majority of the trip. "

"The condo was everything advertised and more! We were delighted from the start by the cleanliness and well turned out furnishings. There were plenty of pool toys and floats, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. No problems with any of the unit's mechanical or electrical devices. The beds are comfortable and made for some deep sleeping, I myself slept on both ears every night. The beach is just a short walk away and we went every day! Late April is the perfect time to visit!"

"The condo was in a nice location being near enough to town if you want to go in for dinner, but far enough away from crowds if you want more privacy. The neighborhood was nice. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and near the great for the kids. The walk to the beach was not far at all. The only thing we missed was the availability of kayak/paddle board rentals ON the beach like we are accustomed to. Overall, this was a great vacation! "

"The pictures honestly don't do this place justice. The condo was not only clean but was also decorated so nicely. I really felt like I was at home. The Dunes is an amazing property, we had access to two swimming pools and the beach is only a short walk away. We have three small children so we carry a lot of stuff with us to the beach and pool so being so close to both was a plus! Other than the beach and pool everything else is pretty far away. You have to drive to Gulf Shores to access any restaurants or entertainment. But we just hit the grocery store on the way in and cooked majority of the trip. There are grills outside that we used as well some nights. And as far as entertainment goes my kids just need the pool and beach in order to have a good time. But we planned one day in Gulf Shores and hit the zoo and ate at Doc's Seafood. (Wouldn't really recommend this place though, food wasn't that great, and it's expensive). The rest of the trip we just enjoyed our beautiful condo, the beach, and pools! The condo is very spacious and slept my family of five very comfortably. I would recommend this condo to anyone! Only complaint was that there was no wifi. (But I knew this when i booked the condo, so it wasn't a suprise.) And I have T mobile so I also had terrible reception the whole trip. but it gave me and my family a chance to disconnect from our devices and reconnect with each other. So it was still a win-win in our case. Hope this helps! Happy planning!"

"We were overall satisfied with our stay at the Dunes 106 and would go back again. The only things that really need updated at the TV/cable service and the mattress in the master BR. It also really needs internet service. It was very clean and convenient to the pool, and we liked that. "

"We had a great time. It was a very long drive from the condo to anywhere else. Since we had never been there before, we were surprised by that. It's a lovely area though. The outdoor furniture for our unit was broken, table and at least 1 chair. Beds were comfortable. There were minor things like a hole in the wall where someone hit it with the recliner and peeling cabinets. "

"We loved the off the beaten path area. The room was spacious and clean. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant. The pool area was great. The cell phone service was terrible for Verizon but I feel like that little problem made for a perfect vacation away from all my stress. we will be returning to the Dunes for another vacation with out question. "3 nights to visit with family. The condo is right by the pool and ground level. Perfect for us since we were traveling with small children.
Access to the beach is a good ways but the bridge make it easy to get past the dunes. "

"Bugs in room, front door stuck and hard to unlock. Appliances old and dated. No clock in Master Bedroom. Overall condo is not well maintained. Why pay a room deposit and cleaning fee when I have to strip the beds and remove all towel to make the maid services easier?"
