"Just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Close to great restaurants, across the street from the marina (which has a great ice cream shop). The home was beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The decor and floor plan were very well designed and the kitchen and dining room were exceptional. Spectacular views from every floor! Highly recommend!!"

Absolutely Beautiful House & Views

"This house is just absolutely Gorgeous!! We had never been to the Fort Morgan area and this is the house to stay at if you are going! This house is located in a private gated community with private beaches. The beaches were so relaxing and never even close to being crowded. The house had all the bells and whistles and more than enough room for my family and friends. Loved that we all had our own bathroom, that was a major plus. The elevator was just awesome! Not having to pack your luggage up and down stairs was a huge plus! The Kitchen was gorgeous, but did need a few minor fixes. One of dish washers did not work and we didn’t realize that until we had tried to wash a load of dishes. The trim next to the dish washer that didn't work kept falling off. We loved the huge table in the dining area that was able to fit almost all of our party when eating, but some of the chairs needed their legs tightened. We loved loved the private pool, however we had to contact Sunset Properties to figure out how to use the pool control. But we never could get the lights to work. The patio furniture was a major plus to have but they held water and stayed wet. You could totally just stay here the whole time and never leave but if you needed a few things, the little gas station grocery store is just 6 miles from Dream. We also found that Tacky Jacks #2 was literally just across the street and OMG they have the best burgers! The only thing I would recommend ..... is a baby gate, we had 4 small toddlers in our party and had to lay chairs across the stairways going up and down. Just so the babies wouldn’t try to get on the stairs. Over all this house is just perfect for a big family and beautiful! We are already looking forward to staying here next year! "

Amazing Home

"Loved the house itself. All furniture was quality and comfortable, indoor/outdoor. The bedding and towels were also quality and comfortable. Ran into several issues with the appliances, a dishwasher was out of order but was not marked, so we ended loading the wrong dishwasher the first time. Several burners on the stove top did not work, but we still had enough to cook breakfast/dinner for 16. A ceiling fan in one of the top floor bedrooms did not work, tho a tower fan was provided in the closet. The control for the pool did not work, we were unable to turn on the pool lights at night. None of these issues affected our stay other than slight inconveniences and the management team was very responsive and helpful with any difficulties we encountered. The beach was very beautiful and clean. We did not ever feel over crowded. I loved the location other than it’s about a 25min drive into town for activities, dining, or groceries. There are several small grocery stores and gas stations nearby for mini restocks but for your initial grocery run I would recommend Rouses in Gulf Shores. There are also a couple nearby restaurants - a Tacky Jacks location is literally across the HWY at the marina. Overall very happy with our stay and would stay again. "

Amazing Beach House

"We had two families looking for a beach trip away from the crowds. This house was perfect. It was large, inviting, and relaxing. We never felt crowded despite having 12 people. The gathering area on the main floor had ample comfortable space. The amazing kitchen was well-designed with high-end appliances (and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc) making meal prep easy. The beach was only steps away, the pool and deck were a great addition for refreshing breaks from the beach, and the views on all floors were amazing. The bedrooms were very comfortable and each had its own bathroom (except for 1 that was under construction). Lots of high-end design and other features made this one of the best beach houses we've ever rented. It is about 20-30 mins away from shopping (groceries, supplies, etc) and restaurants (price you pay for enjoying an almost private beach). This may not appeal to everyone but was exactly what we were looking for. The management team was available, responsive, and easy to work with. Instructions on how to use some of the high-tech features (elevator, shower spray systems, pool lights, etc) would have made the house a bit more guest-friendly. "

"Our entire family just got home from staying at Dream this past week. We were there to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary. This was such a special time and Jennifer at Sunset Properties went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing less than perfect!!! The home is absolutely breathtaking and very comfortable. There were 16 of us ( 2 were babies) and everyone was so comfortable and we felt we had so much space. The pool was perfect for those that needed a break from the beach. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend Dream and Sunset Properties. A five star from our entire family!!! "

"The property was great and perfect for our family. The elevator and Ada bathroom was a must as one member of the family can’t climb stairs or stand unassisted in the shower for long. The proximity to the beach was good for the children as well. My only suggestions would be an ice maker of some sort in the kitchen and maybe a small refrigerator for the master suite so you don’t have to go downstairs for a drink. That being said, I would highly recommend the property and the management was extremely prompt to answer any questions we had. Thanks again for a wonderful family vacation."

"We loved our stay at this beach house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and the big kitchen and double fridge were super helpful when it came to meal time. The only downside was that there were no blinds in the rooms with windows facing the ocean so when the sun came up, so did you! It was a wonderful view but it would have been nice to be able to sleep in past sunrise a few mornings. "

"This house was very nice. I have multiple rentals myself and I’m speaking from experience when I say it’s too nice to be a rental property. This house was by far the nicest house that we have stayed in on the gulf. This was our groups 9th year ina row and everyone agreed this was the best house so far. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and we had PLENTY of room for everyone! VERY nice place and we will definitely return!!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this beautifully furnished house. It was exactly as described. The kitchen was large and well equipped to feed a crowd. The elevator was a plus for the senior citizens. The beach was clean and not overly crowded. The dolphins put on quite a show while we were there! The management company was fantastic. They were quick to respond about a couple of minor issues & the maintenance team were friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying there again."

"Pool is such a plus for a dip after a hot day on the beach. Elevator makes for an easy move in. House was so clean. House is as lovely as the pictures show. Only major problem was the missing shades in the down stairs bedroom in the front of the house. One dishwasher was broken but there was another. Kitchen was well equipped. Used the grill to cook burgers outside."

"Hi, thank you for leaving us the review. Thankfully, we have two washing machines and dryers, two refrigerators and two dishwashers. All of the appliances are two years old at this point, but unfortunately even new appliances have problems on occasion. We called the appliance repairman for the dish washer; however, we are tied to their schedule and hindered by their backlog. It was repaired and is working in tip top shape at this time! The blinds have also been on back order, and as soon as they come in they will be hung! "

"We rented this house for a 3 generation reunion. The elevator was so useful for moving in suitcases and groceries and for the elder generation. We al had a wonderful time on the beach and in the pool.
The location was great - away from the crowded beaches, however the trade off is the distance from grocery stores, activities, etc.
The house was clean when we arrived, but there were several things that needed attention. One dishwasher didn't work, neither ice maker worked, a burner on the stove did not work, fan controls did not work or were missing, the toaster was damaged, and one bedroom did not have any blinds. The property management did attempt to fix the dishwasher and a bedroom fan, but could not.
Sunset Properties was very helpful before the trip with information, and the check in and check out process went smoothly. They were also very quick with a response when a pipe became disconnected under the sink causing some flooding. It just seems like the house needs some general maintenance.

"HI, Thank you for your review. We are still waiting on the part that has been back ordered for some time now to fix the 2nd dishwasher. We are so thankful at least one of them works! I know the icemakers were immediately fixed by lowering the arms. The housekeepers will raise the arm to clean that area and sometimes they forget to lower it which turns them on. The burner on the stove was also immediately fixed by flipping the switch. The bedroom fan needed resetting. The owner of the home keeps an extra tower fan in the master closet so in case that happens again, you can use the tower fan! The toaster was replaced and the blinds that have been on back order have finally come in so we have solved that issue! Sorry, we couldn't have done everything while you were here! "

"Family of 17 with 4 under age of 8. Found the house to be very beautiful and spacious. I would say only drawback as this 75 year old grandmother sees it is not another living space to separate a little more. More sitting places on deck would have been nice but realize the pool took up some of the area. The sofa on deck was broke so not a very comfortable situation. Those two things were only drawback and that was not a dealbreaker. I would stay there again and recommend it highly."

"Two families (12 people) spent a week here. There was plenty of space so nobody felt crowded. If you want a relatively secluded beachfront experience, this is it. The house has very modern features but the kitchen/dining/family area was INCREDIBLE. Would be nice to have instructions how to use the technology (eg, elevator, TV/Dish, poole lights and waterfall). All bedrooms were very comfortable. The management company is professional and responsive. There is a lot of debris around from construction and storm-related re-construction. The property is in a small community near the actual fort, so count on at least 30 min just to get to any shopping or dining locations (could be + or - feature)! Very nice neighbor who lives there full time. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We chose this property due to the location not knowing what the status of the pandemic would be when it was time for our vacation. This is one of the last houses on the peninsula. What a wonderfully peaceful location which we all loved. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and furnished to support family time. Questions were answered quickly. Having rented many houses through the years communications with property managers before and during our stay was the most impressive I have experienced. Highly recommend this property. "

"We loved the space and location this property provided! The beach had limited foot traffic and was just perfect for us to spend the entire day but with the freedom to go into the house easily if needed!
The one downside: the third floor bedroom across from the master (the violet room) did not have a functioning bathroom - the door was locked, and when we opened it the shower was under repair. This is not a surprise you want to have when you arrive on vacation, and I wish it had been communicated to us prior to our arrival. Also, the outside patio leading to the beach was a bit in disarray. There was construction material and debris on the ground, and it didn't reflect the true beauty of the home. "

"Thank you for the review of your stay in this fabulous home! I apologize you were not contacted before your arrival about the bathroom. We tried to notify everyone. We didn't want to cancel anyone's vacation if we didn't have to, and we were hoping 1 out of 7 bathrooms being repaired wouldn't be a cause to cancel someone's reservation. Our construction crews have been working non-stop down here to try to complete the repairs from the damage hurricane Sally left behind. We have all worked diligently to get repairs completed so that we could welcome people back to our beautiful beaches. And, unfortunately, some of the debris from the construction occurring on the home directly to the east blows into our garage. Dang it! With the year that we just had, we are ready to welcome people back! All the repairs to this house including the bathroom was fixed by April 15st! "

"Our stay at Dream for our family Thanksgiving 2020 was wonderful. Each bedroom was just what we needed, even though one bedroom and bath was not usable due to hurricane damage. We loved the location away from traffic and town. The only negative we found was the lack of serving and baking dishes. Because we had our Thanksgiving meal there I had to go and purchase a few dishes. But who else goes to the beach to cook,right? We loved it!"

"We just returned from a week at the Dream and multiple family members mentioned that it was their favorite vacation house ever. The physical location of the house is almost the last house before Fort Morgan.This allowed us to have what appeared to be the most private area of beach, just steps from the house. (Crowded areas of beach are just a quick walk down the beach)The downside of the location, although we all agreed was worth the trade off, is you are quite a distance from restaurants, shops and grocery stores. There is a small grocery store nearby by not really adequate for feeding a house of 10+ people. I would recommend a bigger shopping trip to a Publix on your arrival day, on the way to the house, to maximize your vacation time. Loved everything about this home and dual refrigerators & dishwashers are quite helpful with a large group. There are some local companies who will set up a sturdy tent with beach chairs (well worth the money). We kept all our beach toys, kids life jackets, etc under our tent all week and nothing was ever disturbed. "
