We are so blessed to have the most wonderful guests who come back and stay with us year after year. This week one of our long time repeaters agreed to make our beach update for our all of you. So enjoy their take on the beach and we hope to see you soon to enjoy this beautiful weather.

Ft. Morgan, Beach Update Feburary 8, 2011!!!
Happy February Everyone! We wanted to give you a current beach update. Tara and I ventured out to the beach at lunch today to get a video of the deep clean that BP is performing. You will see large equipment, and holes that it dug, sifting equipment and dump trucks. The large digging equipment will dig a pile of sand and then the sand is lifted in to the sifter. This sifter will separate the clean sand from the tar balls or any oiled debris. The clean sand is then put back on the beach while the tar balls and debris are put in dump trucks and hauled away.
We fully anticipate the beach to back at it’s beautiful self by Spring! We are looking forward to seeing all of you back, really soon!!! Check out the video. Fort Morgan Beach Update February 2011
What to pack for your Beach Vacation!!!
If you are like me, you always over pack no matter where you are going, and the things you pack are not exactly what you need. Tara and I took some time to make a video about what you need for your beach vacation. What you need is a surprisingly short list. Be sure to check out this video so you don’t bring needless items, and don’t forget the most important things!
Snapper Season Open each weekend until Nov. 22nd
Time to break out your fishing polls and put on some sunscreen, it is Snapper Season each weekend until November 22nd. I’m not sure who came up with the idea but they were brilliant!!! Instead a few weeks earlier in the year, Now it is Snapper Season every weekend in the fall. Almost every man I know in the area is busy every weekend fishing for the fun and great tasting fish.
So now is the time folks, book your condo, bring your boat down or schedule a charter and get ready to have some fun!!! The snapper are huge, and available every weekend. Oh, and don’t forget about the ladies in your life, if they are not interested in fishing themselves, there are beautiful white sand beaches and world class shopping for them to enjoy in the area. The fall is the beast time of year to come to the beach with its small crowds and perfect weather and low rates, who could ask for more??? Give us a call for specials. See you soon!!!!
9/14/10 The Dunes Beach Update
It is a BEAUTIFUL day today at The Dunes Beach in Fort Morgan! It is great fall weather that kind of masquerades as summer during the day. It is in the low 90’s very sunny, a nice breeze that cools the sand off perfectly right now. In the mornings and evenings the temps are in the low 70’s. The water is perfectly clear and the blue crabs are out in full force. while we still have a small crowd, they are enjoying the beach and all of it’s beauty this time of year. Labor Day Weekend at The Dunes Beach

Ft. Morgan Beach Update 08/20/10
What a beautiful afternoon in Ft. Morgan. It is warm but their is a nice breeze coming off of the water and we saw lots of fish jumping and we even saw a small pod of Dolphin off the beach. Which we are so excited to see. We see a few cleanup crews down near the Fort, today cleaning up tar balls. Our beach is looking really nice and we had some friends help us out with our beach update this morning! Thanks Bryn and Diane for taking the time out of your trip to help us with our video today!
