Amazing View

"This 3 bedroom 2.5 bath condo was perfect for my family. Easy access to the beach, most western view of the peninsula. Condo was very nicely decorated with a fully stocked kitchen. Sofa was super comfy. Beds slept well. I will be back. Mel, Lebanon, TN "

"This is our 5th stay in the Dunes community, and absolutely love the area. 709 was a nice property, however, it could use a little updating -- most of the rugs were stained badly and need replaced, some of the furniture could use a good cleaning or replaced, the bedding in the bunk room had stains, it could use some touch-up paint or a fresh coat to make the place seem fresh and clean, the fan in the 1/2 bath was so loud that it made it miserable to use that bathroom. The views are amazing and we loved the two balconies. We usually go in July and don't always use the balcony because it's so hot, but being there is March for this trip, we practically lived on the balconies and truly appreciated the table so we could eat meals out there. Sunrise on the beach is a must! The walk from the condo to the beach is not bad - about 5 minutes for us old folks with arthritis. An alternative is to drive over to the public beach by the fort -- the sand is a little easier to walk on. Be sure to tour the fort while you're there and take the ferry over to Dauphin Island. "

"the view from your balcony is amazing! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The walk to the beach is a bit long, but the beaches are not crowded and worth it! The pool was nice and the indoor/outdoor is a great option to have if you are done with the sun. Location is far from most area restaurants and grocery stores so make sure you plan accordingly. They were updating the stucco and windows, and door seals while we were there but it didn't get in out way or bother us. The elevators were hot and needs some maintenance. "

"The Dunes at Fort Morgan is amazing. There's no tourist vibe. It's just quiet, peaceful, and minutes from Gulf Shores. Our 3bed/3bath condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 10. The view from the 7th floor balcony was amazing. The master bed has its own private balcony as well. You could see the sunrise from one side and the sunset from the other. Lots of room on the beach, no over crowding. You could even walk a litte way down the beach and be totally alone. Loved my beach walks! We will definitely be coming back to visit The Dunes!"

"we had a great time at the dunes, very clean roomy and modern, I would suggest leaving some trash bags to be used, I had to go purchase some trash bags but other than that it was a very pleasurable experience, family enjoyed it"

"Views for days, I mean the pictures of the views just don't do it justice. It's quiet, it's removed from Orange beach and all it's hustle and bustle, it's close to the Dauphin Island Ferry, the pool and hot tub are an added bonus. However, if we had one issue the cookware could definitely need replaced, were were only able to fine one pan that didn't stick to terribly. Beyond that this is a great property and we look forward to coming back."

"What a perfect location in beautiful Fort Morgan. It's near the Bon Secour National Wildlife Preserve, which is a short beach walk to the west. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the veranda. I would definitely stay here again. The one thing I will caution about this unit is that you need to bring pretty much everything you use at home. There were no wine glasses, not a large array of pots and pans and no pantry items. Other than that, it was a great place to stay."

"The condo was very nice, it accommodated our family of 5. The view was breath taking. There was about a 300 yard walk to the beach. The condo was great, but I personally think I would like to have been closer to Gulf Shores main area. It was a 25-30 minute (depending on traffic)drive to the large stores (Walmart, souvenir stores, etc).

"We had a wonderful time with our daughter, her husband and three granddaughters. Condo is very nicely appointed and the view from the balcony is great. The breeze for this corner location made it possible to sit out there even with the late July temperatures and we were treated to a display of very playful dolphins one evening. Had no need for the management this trip but they have always been responsive and helpful on past trips. Highly recommend this place and the Dunes community."

"Our stay was very enjoyable & relaxng. A great escape from the "Christmas crazy" of the big city. The condo was beautiful as well as our view. The new electronic door locking system makes it more convenient with 4 adults not always coming/going together. Makes for easy check in & checkout also. We love the Dunes & keep returning (our 9th stay). We've brought friends & family on several trips with us, and recommended stays here to family who have consequently vacationed here. Everyone has had a wonderful time, & several have plans to return! "

"It was fantastic. The condo was beautifully appointed with a terrific view. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and dunes. We enjoyed being near the wildlife sanctuary and coming over on the ferry from Dauphin Island. I highly recommend the Dunes. Word of advice, be sure to watch the video and read the information regarding getting into your condo. We had a bit of a problem, but it was resolved quickly with a phone call. "

"My husband and I traveled from Nebraska to stay with our oldest son and his family in Dunes 709. We found it roomy, clean and with gorgeous views! Only downside was weather could have been better. The living room furniture could use an update to more supportive seating but that's my only complaint. Bring a blow dryer too! "
